Intercontinental Hangzhou Liangzhu, designed by HBA. The design of the hotel seeks to draw timeless parallels between ancient Liangzhu culture and modern China.
When you first enter the hotel lobby, you will be impressed by an impressive artistic interactive installation inspired by the Liangzhu archaeological site. The planning of the lounge around the art installation reflects the symmetrical formalism of the ancient Liangzhu planning.
The high background wall of reception area applied resin veneer material to achieve a unique design effect through the circular shape. Traditional square or rectangular background walls is classic, but have gradually been replaced by fresh arc shapes, which can be easily produced using the flexibility and plasticity of resin veneer materials.
This project features exquisite resin surface wall paneling that combines aesthetic elegance with durability, offering a luxurious yet practical solution for modern hospitality environments. Key benefits include the customizable nature of the resin panels, allowing for bespoke designs that enhance any interior style while maintaining resistance to wear and moisture. These panels are not only visually striking but also contribute to the sophisticated ambiance expected in upscale hotel settings.
Their ease of installation and low maintenance further emphasize their practicality and long-term value, making them an ideal choice for large-scale accommodations. Ultimately, the project highlights a perfect blend of artistry and functionality, distinguishing it as a hallmark of refined architectural craftsmanship.
